What a busy summer you have had. I adore Tomato Sandwiches myself. They are always a real late summer treat when the tomatoes are so delicious!! Must be on white bread though with plenty of Miracle Whip. Yes, I had a mis-spent childhood. lol xxooMarie Raynerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00407913432222377267noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-421770883465385103.post-87754421183376687182013-08-31T13:30:50.992-07:002013-08-31T13:30:50.992-07:00OUTSIDE...it is bright and hot! I am so blessed with the LORD's protection, strength, and mostly, salvation!
LEARNING...getting older has more surprises than a surprise party!
READING...my books I got from the places I visited on my 14 days through 17 states!
KITCHEN...homemade chicken salad! I use chicken, celery, apples, raisins, onions, walnuts, and mayo!
SPIRITUAL... not only does He Love His children equally, but also unconditionally!
HEARING...My birds yakking, the dogs wrestling, and the cats chasing each other throughout the house! Quite peaceful to me, lol!
PLEASURE...Have you ever eaten fried green tomatoes?
QUOTING...your quote is accomplished by what Christ told us, "Love your neighbor as yourself!"
CHANGE...Hazel! Oh my word! We (as Kindg. teachers) always took our kids to the bus (our school let us go five minutes before the 1-5 kids bus bell) We shared the job then came back to where other kindg. teachers were with our parent pick-up children.) We NEVER lost one student! The bus drivers always had them sit behind them when we put them on the bus. They matched their list to ours to make sure they were on the correct bus. If not we went to the office and corrected it. No bus left until it was resolved!
MOVIE...I'm waiting for my Netflix!
(I wonder if Brad knows that?)
CURIOUS...since we all came from Adam and Eve and Noah, we all are related in one way or another. That can be joyful or frightful depending on who you look at.
WEEK... finishing touches to my photo book of my 14 day journey (which I am now starting to post.) Invited out to dinner with a group of teachers I knew when I taught. Looking forward to Sunday and my joy to be with my church family. Taking Grace to the vet next week. Finding someone to fix the broken spring on my garage door, going to my previous principal's wedding with one of the older ladies in my church. They are both in their 70's.
FAVORITE...time with my family, friends, church, bloggers friends...
HAPPY...to be back on my regular sleeping/waking time and daily routine!
SURPRISING...That BYU now has a channel on my high definition channels! Great programing!
PICTURES...Tell Julia I said Happy Birthday!
Love to you and yours, Susan sistersusiesayshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07753668561920609089noreply@blogger.com
