Mother Teresa's Anyway Poem
"People are often unreasonable, illogical and self centered;
Forgive them anyway.
If you are kind, people may accuse
you of selfish, ulterior motives;
you of selfish, ulterior motives;
Be kind anyway.
If you are successful, you will win some
false friends and some true enemies
Succeed anyway.
If you are successful, you will win some
false friends and some true enemies
Succeed anyway.
If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you;
Be honest and frank anyway.
What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight;
Build anyway.
If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous;
Be happy anyway.
The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow;
Do good anyway.
Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough;
Give the world the best you've got anyway.
You see, in the final analysis, it is between you and your God;
It was never between you and them anyway."
Reportedly inscribed on the wall of Mother Teresa's children's home in Calcutta, and attributed to her. It has been since discovered that it was actually penned by Kent m. Keith. Regardless, it is beautiful and no wonder Mother Teresa embraced its message.

It's not what we do, but what we allow Christ to do through us. May He do all things through us, anyway!
Love to you and yours, Susan
Hi again, Bonnie.
Thank you for your visit today! I know you have been so very busy! I have always made a copy of my blogs and have them in plastic sleeves in a folder. Yes, I am interested in your template. Thank you for sharing.
Love to you and yours, Susan
Hi Bonnie,
I have seen that before years ago,
and loved it then, in fact, sent it to someone who was going thru a hard time and it encouraged them.
It is so true, that it isn't between us and them, it is between us and the Lord............great thing to remember in hard times!
Pretty much goes along with the scripture about not being weary in well doing!
Hope you are doing well hon,
Love and Blessings, Nellie
