Family Party

We arrived in Utah to be greeted by all 8 grandkids waiting on the balcony as we drove up to the house. They were all jumping and cheering when we rounded the bend. They are so sweet and made us feel very welcome!

Here are half of them saying "Hi Gramma!"

Jen prepared a great dinner and Missy made a
cherry pie from scratch (pitted the cherries!) that was unbelievable.

It was for our Happy Retirement/Happy Birthday Party!

Hazel and her Uncle "Kiss."

Aynslee and Julia, always side by side
when they are together.

Julia soon to be 10 in August and
Aynslee turning 8 in September.

Zachary having a little chat with Hazie!

After Chris and his family went home for the evening, Jen and Lowell and the girls opened the packages we delivered from Lowell's 87-year-old aunt that lives near us.

Jen opens one of the boxes as Lowell
reads her message to the family.

Lots and lots of dolls spilled out of the boxes...
This is what Aunt Zona had been collecting for
these special great nieces of hers over the year.

Which one is alive?
Hazie was a bit overwhelmed when a
lot of them were bigger than she is!

We also got to have dinner last night with
Lowell's parents who were passing through
Utah on their way to Idaho and Wyoming.
We absolutely love them
and enjoyed seeing them again.

We tried the tri-pod and auto set for these photos.
Most of them were pretty goofy
but this one was passable, kinda!

What a Retirement/Happy Birthday present. There can be no greater than family! Give Hazie a kiss for me (as well as all of your other sweethearts!)
Blessings to you and yours,
Susie

I had to look twice to see the Hazie doll! It's the best photo I've seen for ages and made me laugh out loud after a rotten day
