BOO! Gramma's Literary Society

The Third Halloween

Written and Illustrated by Zachary (age 5)

Once upon a time there was a ghost that was scared of a witch. The witch died of bonking into a house. Then a scary, scary skeleton came to a very scary pumpkin and the skeleton was scared of the pumpkin. The skeleton ran away from the pumpkin. A scary, scary bat came to the season of Halloween then the bat flew to its home. Then tons of people that were in costumes were going trick-or-treating. Another ghost came and scared the people that were in costumes.

The End

Boo! (from Zach)

I love that simple little story. Reminds me of some we had at our house a few years ago! Almost absolute random thoughts about halloween, but very cute.

Hi Bon! When I was a teacher's assistant in a kindergarten class, I used to love to hear the stories the kids came up with!! They crack me up!! What a cutie, and what a silly story!!

Things here are a little crazy, but good. Hope all is well with you, though I know it's been a bit crazy for you, too!

Praying that you get some good rest and refreshment!! (Me, too!!)
Love and hugs,
Becky

My son Andrew will like how this story goes. They must think alike even though Andrew is 20 now and Zach is a little younger.

Hi Again girlie,
Loved Zach's lil poem, pretty creative. Love his lil head sticking thru the leaves, he is so adorable. So amazing what a 5 yr. old can come up with. I remember my son writing when he was in preschool that the thing he liked to do best with his dad was...... KILL SNAKES! They had never killed a snake together, we thought his memory might have come from when his dad ran over a rattlesnake that was in our yard while he was mowing. Scott was out there! lol
KIDS ARE A TRULY A RIOT!!
Blessings,Nellie
