Winter?

When you live in CA this is a typical late January early February day. I was out doing errands and I just found myself drawn up toward Mt. Diablo in hopes of capturing what I saw. I think it was breathtaking! We haven't even had much rain and look at the lush beauty of the hillsides. I love that no matter what the state of the affairs of man may be, the wonders of nature are given to all; old and young, rich and poor, all colors and creeds. We all may partake freely. Now that is a Good and Gracious Father. It is one of the few things our new President doesn't have to worry about in the least and neither do we.

Oh I feel as if I were really there. I love those pictures. The clouds, the trees....it gives you a sense of peace doesn't it?

Love,
Deanna

You have captured some beautiful scenes too! Weren't the clouds something else? Have you seen the ones I posted yesterday? I took them on Sunday. I could not get over how pretty it was on Sunday. We are supposed to be having a cold wind chill tonight.

Beautiful and breathtaking. The gray snow here is fairly hideous. What a winter wonderland of beauty.

To get the snow effect, you to your layout page when on customize. Then you click on add a gadget. Then you click on the HTML gadget and put in the code for the snow effect. Then save. When you want to remove it, then you go back to the layout page and click on edit for the snow gadget you added and click on remove and it removes the snow effect from your page. I still have the snow effect on my main blog but have removed it from my craft blog. If you scroll all the way to the bottom of my main blog you can see the Snow Effect title there. That is showing my I have that code on my layout still. I will remove it eventually. Hope that helps.

Yes the house is Sonoma or Napa. You are close. I am leaving another hint today.

Oh Bonnie! I MISS Concord SO MUCH! Salt Lake isn't NEARLY so beautiful in the winter... the rolling emerald hills make me all misty (or that could also be my preggie hormones:)

I agree with Ashley, it may be white here, but I prefer the wintery look of Concord. :)

I came to give you a big hug!

((((((HUGS)))))

I love your snow! How did you do that? It's precious! We are waiting for that cold front to hit us here in an hour or so. My husband and I are in bed under the blankets and playing on our laptops. Such a sweet moment to be with him and sharing my thoughts about you and of our friendship ....and Lanette's encouraging voice.....

All of my love,
Deanna :)
